I only had one casualty demolding which I consider a success. The plaster was pretty wet so I kept it at a low temp in the oven for two days.

I ended up leaving the slip in the mold for a pretty long time because the level of the slip never lowered like it did for the other mold

As a result the walls are pretty thick. Given the size of the cast I think it should be ok though. As I waited for the slip to set up I set up the molds for my next experiment

I printed the segments I created for ceramic printing. Because the calibration is taking longer than I expected to I’m testing slip casting the modular model pieces to see if this is the best way to make my ceramic/3D printing dreams come true

This method could clearly use a little refinement…
