3D printing for Slip Casts

So I've started some 3D prints for slip casting. I had some difficulty coming up with designs that were good starting points because my aesthetic reflexes tend to be pretty asymmetrical and under-cutty. I made a face vase that I knew would be a challenge but I wanted to give it a try.

Troubleshooting…

The power went out at my apartment in the middle of my print (definitely thought it was the world ending quarantine stuff at first) so to save the print I measured where the print stopped and edited the G Code so the printer would resume at its last location.

I also made a simple vase in Rhino as a contingency plan in case the face vase didn’t work out.
